Contest Success!
April--Borrego. 2010 is off to a good start. We fielded a group of five pilots at the first contest of the year: two Primary, and one each Sportsman, Intermediate and Advanced. Fernando Scalini brought home 2nd Place Sportsman, mere inches behind the first place Extra. Endo Hiroyasu, flying his first Advanced contest, also did well: no zeros!Sunrise brought home the school trophy.
May--Los Angeles Gold Cup. In Apple Valley Takaki Hamasaki took Second place, Primary. Endo again did well, finishing fifth agains a very tough Advanced field. No school trophy was awarded.
